The Spectrum
of Being a Doula
A monthly membership for doulas who want to do this work deeper
— for every kind of client, every kind of birth, every kind of loss.
ABOUT THE MEMBERSHIP
Not another doula training.
A living practice.
Many doula training gives you the basics and sends you out the door. The Spectrum of Being a Doula is different. It's a monthly membership — a living, growing resource that meets you where you are and grows with your practice.
Whether you're a birth doula, postpartum doula, bereavement doula, death doula, or all of the above — this membership holds the full spectrum of what doula work involves. The clinical knowledge, the emotional intelligence, the business reality, and the neurodivergent-affirming tools that many trainings completely miss.
You will leave every month with something you can use: a form, a framework, a script, a strategy, a conversation with someone who has been in the rooms you're about to enter.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Everything your training didn't cover.
New resources added every month. Everything available in the archive from day one.
Ready-to-use and fully adaptable. For birth, postpartum, bereavement, and death doula clients.
How to conduct a consultation that gathers everything you need and builds genuine trust.
Stage by stage, evidence-based, and ND-aware. What to do, what to say, what to watch for.
Pricing, contracts, boundaries, client management, and building a practice that doesn't burn you out.
How to process difficult births, losses, and hard days — for you and with your clients.
Supporting autistic, ADHD, and neurodivergent clients and families with skill and understanding.
Live calls with Suzy and the community. Case discussions, Q&A, and real talk about the work.
A space to ask questions, share experiences, and find your people — other doulas doing this with intention.
ND-AFFIRMING PRACTICE
Built for every
kind of mind.
Neurodivergent clients are everywhere in birth work. Autistic birthing people, ADHD parents, families navigating sensory differences and communication needs. Most doula training doesn't address this at all.
This membership does. Every resource is designed with ND awareness built in — not as an afterthought, but as a foundation. And the membership itself is designed to work for ND doulas too.
“The doulas who change lives are the ones who keep learning. It’s not just the clinical stuff, but the human stuff. That’s what this membership is for.”
YOUR MENTOR
Mentored by someone who has
been in every room.
Suzy (she/her) is a full-spectrum doula, celebrant, certified holistic health practitioner, licensed minister, and interspiritual pastor-in-training. She has attended hundreds of births and sat with many more families across the full spectrum of being human — in grief and in joy, in the ordinary and the devastating.
Her lived experience shapes her teachings. Six births and six miscarriages of her own have given her an understanding of this work that no training alone could provide. She has sat on both sides of the work — as the doula holding space, and as the person who needed someone to hold it for her. That shapes how she teaches. So does knowing, deeply and personally, that no two circumstances are ever the same.
She is also a late-diagnosed autistic adult, the mother of seven — six living, one not — and a public voice for neurodivergent lived experience.
She brings all of this into every resource, every call, and every 1:1 session.
