Full-Spectrum Ceremonies
for life events & transitions.
Hi, I’m Suzy!
I’m Suzy (she/her). I’m a celebrant, licensed minister in the state of Ohio, full-spectrum doula, a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, am completing a Doctorate of Ministry, and am attending seminary at One Spirit Learning Alliance. My work is spiritual, not religiousinterfaith, belief-inclusive, and built on the conviction that spirituality is a tool for connection, not doctrine.I have spent years holding space for people in their most significant moments, at births through deaths, in grief and in joy, long before I had the word "ceremony" for what I was doing.
I’m also a mother of six (five living, one not) and have had six miscarriages. I’m a late-diagnosed autistic adult raising five boys, three of whom are also neurodivergent, and a voice for neurodivergent lived experience.

So, what exactly is a ceremony, anyway?
A ceremony is a container. It's the thing you build around a moment to say that something significant just happened. That a life changed. That a person crossed a threshold. That this moment deserves more than just moving on to the next thing. Most people think of ceremonies as weddings and funerals, yes. But a full spectrum ceremony can hold anything — a diagnosis, a divorce, a first period, a name change, a miscarriage, a midlife crossing, birth trauma. They hold space for any moment that remade you.
You don't need a religion to have a ceremony. You don't need a script that came from somewhere else. You don't need to fit into a format that wasn’t designed for you. A full spectrum ceremony is built entirely from your story: your beliefs, your people, your words, your moment. It can be big or small, public or private. A backyard gathering or a hospital room. Two people or twenty. Five minutes or an hour. Joyful, grief-held, or both at once. Spoken aloud or held in near-silence.
What it always is, is yours.
FULL - SPECTRUM CEREMONIES
No two lives look the same.
Neither do our ceremonies.
2026/ 2027 SCHOOL YEAR
The Growing Spectrum
A weekly co-op for homeschool kids (and the seed of something bigger for families). Built around body, mind, heart, spirit, and voice: the full spectrum of what it means to be growing up.
All the spirit. None of the sermon.
“A life remakes itself across the whole spectrum. Birth and death, of course. But also the diagnosis that split everything into before and after. The name that finally fits. The relationship that began. The moment you stopped pretending to be someone else.”
THE COURSE
The Full-Spectrum Celebrant™
